GOLF CART PROJECT MAY 2024

This golf cart was the final project for my technical direction class in Spring 2024. I was responsible for welding together the metal framework that composes the front of the golf cart.

Thief of the Moon

I built this tree as a set piece for a dance film as part of the UMass Amherst Fashion Organization. Over the course of a month I drafted, built, and painted this 8.5 foot tall tree.

Icarus Reborn

A set of metal wings I created for my dance performance Icarus Reborn made entirely out of repurposed utensils and metal hoops. The dance conceptualized the question of “what if Icarus survived the fall” and what would his journey of refinding himself look like. This set of metal wings was so heavy, it literally symbolized the weight and discomfort of trying on wings and selves that don’t fit.

This is the second set of metal wings I made for the dance performance, these ones made from painted cardboard and twine tying everything together. This set of wings was very light and painted to look like a chaotic universe of pieces.
